Education

In order to find employment, build relationships, thrive in a community, and help a child in school or communicate with a child’s teacher, a parent needs to be able to understand and speak English.  We arrange the best time and place for adults to enroll in ESL program. We also help find schools for the children in the community where they live and help enroll in the school's ESL program.

We also educate them how to use the Library system as it is also a great way to encourage the younger ones to read, write and speak English.

Apart from learning English, we are also encouraging the new generation to not forget their own language and literature on how to read, write and speak fluently in a foreign land. So we teach the Zomi basic language of reading and writing during summer vacation.
